But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
