The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
