The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the night, when it envelops, 1 And by oath of the day when it shines 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 and believes in the truth of what is right, 6 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. 7 But for those who are niggardly, horde their wealth, 8 And rejects the best, 9 Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. 10 and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]? 11 Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance. 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely (Hell); 14 in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, 15 who belied and turned away, 16 But the righteous one will avoid it - 17 he that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 But only seeking the Countenance of his Lord the Most High. 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
