Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
