The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 Shu'ayb asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 177 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful." 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
