۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
