▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
