We gave Moses nine clear signs; so ask the children of Israel. When (Moses) came to them the Pharaoh said: "I think, O Moses, you have been deluded." 101 He said, “You certainly know that these have not been sent down except by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the eye-openers* for the hearts; and I think that you, O Firaun, will surely be ruined.” (* The signs which enlighten the hearts.) 102 Then he besought to unsettle them from the land; wherefore We drowned him and those with him, all together. 103 And after that We said unto the children of Israel: "Dwell now securely on earth - but [remember that] when the promise of the Last Day shall come to pass, We will bring you forth as [parts of] a motley crowd! 104 With the truth We have sent it down, and with the truth it has come down; and We have sent thee not, except good tidings to bear, and warning; 105 And this is a Recitation which We have made distinct that thou mayest recite it unto mankind with delay, and We have revealed it at intervals. 106 Say: Believe in it or believe not; surely those who are given the knowledge before it fall down on their faces, making obeisance when it is recited to them. 107 and say, "Exaltations be to our Lord! The promise of our Lord is done.' 108 And they fall down upon their faces, weeping, and their humility increases when (the Qur'an) is recited to them. ۩ 109 Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between." 110 And say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son and Who has not a partner in the kingdom, and Who has not a helper to save Him from disgrace; and proclaim His greatness magnifying (Him). 111
