Say, "[God says] O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world will have a good reward -- and God's earth is spacious. Truly, those who persevere patiently will be requited without measure." 10 Say (O Muhammad): Lo! I am commanded to worship Allah, making religion pure for Him (only). 11 “And I am commanded that I be the first to submit.” 12 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day." 13 Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion, 14 So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!" 15 Above them they shall have overshadowings. of the Fire, and underneath them overshadowings; that it is wherewith God frightens His servants: "O My servants, so fear you Me!"' 16 And those who put away false gods lest they should worship them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them there are glad tidings. Therefor give good tidings (O Muhammad) to My bondmen 17 Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding. 18 On the other hand, could one on whom [God's] sentence of suffering has been passed [be rescued by man]? Couldst thou, perchance, save one who is [already, as it were,] in the fire? 19 But those who fear Allah and keep their duty to their Lord (Allah), for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allah: and Allah does not fail in (His) Promise. 20 Have you not seen that God sends down water from the sky, guides it to form springs in the earth, and then, with it, brings forth vegetation of various colours, which later withers, turns yellow before your eyes, and then He makes it crumble away? There is truly a reminder in this for those who possess understanding. 21
