Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
