Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
