Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
