AND THEY WILL ask thee about [what will happen to] the mountains [when this world comes to an end]. Say, then: "My Sustainer will scatter them far and wide, 105 And turn them into a level plain, 106 Wherein thou seest neither curve nor ruggedness. 107 On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march). 108 On that day no intercession availeth save (that of) him unto whom the Beneficent hath given leave and whose word He accepteth. 109 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them, while the others do not know. 110 ۞ And (all) faces shall be humbled before (Allah), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. And he who carried (a burden of) wrongdoing (i.e. he who disbelieved in Allah, ascribed partners to Him, and did deeds of His disobedience), became indeed a complete failure (on that Day). 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 [Know,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth and [knowing this,] do not approach the Qur'an in haste, ere it has been revealed unto thee in full, but [always] say: "O my Sustainer, cause me to grow in knowledge! 114 We had commanded Adam before, but he disregarded it: We found him lacking in resolution. 115
