Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
