▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
