No! By the moon 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 a warning to humans, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
