The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 by those that swim serenely 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 And those who govern the event, 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.). 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 So he showed him the mighty sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
