Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
