Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
