Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 which then smoothly speed along, 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise), 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
