Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
