Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
