Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
