۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. 21 On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited. 22 Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. 23 The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. 24 And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." 29 And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." 30 To every Prophet We have appointed an enemy among the harmdoers; your Lord is Sufficient for you, a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: wherefore is the Qur'an not revealed unto him entire at once! Thus - We reveal - that We may establish thy heart therewith; and We have repeated it with a repetition. 32 And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Quran), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof. 33 those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! 34
