The physical growth of those whom We grant a long life will be reversed. Will you then not understand? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?" 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 "The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)! 80 And is it not possible for the One Who created the heavens and the earth to create the likes of them? It is surely possible, why not? And He is the Great Creator, the All Knowing of everything. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
