The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
