1/2 Hizb 45

۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty). 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Verily We! We have made it a temptation for the wrong-doers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 So in their footsteps they are being hastened on. 70 And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients. 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 74
