The pious ones will be triumphant. 31 Gardens and grapevines 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 and a cup overflowing. 34 They will hear no blasphemies there or disavowals: 35 A recompense from your Lord, a sufficient gift, 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, most benevolent, to whom none may dare address a word. 37 On the Day whereon the spirits and the angels will stand arrayed, they will not be able to speak save him whom the Compassionate giveth leave and who speaketh aright. 38 That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)! 39 Lo! We warn you of a doom at hand, a day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: "Would that I were dust!" 40
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The News (Al-Naba'). Sent down in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
