The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die), 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 to bring them out of their graves and back to life on the earth's surface. 14 Has there reached you the story of Moses? - 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 but he denied it and refused [the faith]. 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 and proclaimed, and he said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High!' 24 you pay attention 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26
