And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
