Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
