۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
