The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
