Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
