The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
