The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
