Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
