Ghaafer 9 of 9
Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 and find [yet other] benefits in them; and that through them you may attain to the fulfillment of [many] a heartfelt need: for on them, as on ships, you are borne [through life]. 80 And He shows you His signs: which then of Allah's signs will you deny? 81 Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them? They were more (in numbers) than these and greater in strength and in fortifications in the land, but what they earned did not avail them. 82 So when their Noble Messengers came to them with clear signs, they remained happy over the worldly knowledge they possessed, and upon them only reverted what they used to mock at! 83 But when they saw Our punishment, they said: We believe in Allah alone and we deny what we used to associate with Him. 84 But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allah which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all]. 85
