The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
