T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the All Merciful settled on the throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. 6 Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 "O Moses, I am verily your Lord, so take off your shoes, for you are in the holy plain of Towa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 That We may shew thee of Our Signs the greatest. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
