(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
