Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
