In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 Till an appointed term, 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
