The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
