Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
