1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'" 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 So this day they all are partners in the punishment. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 On couches, facing one another. 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 causing no headiness or intoxication. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then some of them will turn to others, and will ask each other. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 'By Allah' he will say, 'you almost destroyed me! 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 Save our first death, and are we not to be tormented? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 for the like of this let the workers work.' 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 And once again: Verily, the blazing fire is their ultimate goal 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
