Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
