Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 and the smooth runners 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 And (also) in yourselves. Can ye then not see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
