Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
