Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
